ACLAS is registered with the Ministry of Justice of the Kyrgyz Republic. Licensing by the Ministry of Education is in progress, so applications are currently expressions of interest for the founding cohort; enrolment contracts are offered after licensure. Published founding-cohort tuition is USD 2,800 per academic year for international students and USD 1,800 for students resident in Kyrgyzstan and Central Asia. Every founding-cohort student receives a 25% Founding Scholars scholarship (net USD 2,100 / USD 1,350). Fees are payable in Kyrgyz som at the National Bank rate on the payment date.
Applicants need a high school diploma, a minimum GPA of 3.0 or equivalent, and a relevant academic background. Because programs are taught in English, proficiency in English is required; knowledge of Russian is an advantage for daily life in Bishkek. Shortlisted applicants complete an admissions assessment and an admissions interview.
Entry rules depend on your passport. Many nationalities apply through the official Kyrgyz e-Visa portal, and ACLAS provides admitted students with an invitation/support letter and pre-arrival guidance. Always check the official portal for your nationality.
Yes. Every admitted founding-cohort student receives the 25% Founding Scholars scholarship, and a limited number of 50% excellence awards go to top applicants. Scholarship amounts are confirmed in the offer letter.
Tuition is quoted in US dollars but paid in Kyrgyz som, converted at the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic (NBKR) rate on the payment date. The offer letter states the dollar fee and the payment procedure; no payment is requested before enrolment contracts are offered after licensure.
Yes. The 25% Founding Scholars scholarship applies for each year of the program, renewable subject to satisfactory academic progress. The 50% excellence awards are renewed on the same basis. The renewal conditions are stated in the offer letter.
Tuition does not include housing, food, travel, visa fees or personal expenses. International students should also budget for document translation and certification, medical insurance where required, and travel to Bishkek if they relocate when on-site teaching begins.
