ACLAS Bishkek: Kyrgyz Republic Registration Completed — Programmes, Founding Cohort, and What Comes Next

ACLAS Bishkek has completed registration with the Ministry of Justice of the Kyrgyz Republic (No. 319951-3301-OOO) and is based at 33a S. Ibraimova St, Bishkek. This update introduces the three flagship schools, explains how Bishkek differs from the online college at aclas.college, sets out what the education licence will unlock, and confirms the published founding-cohort tuition.
The Atlanta College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (ACLAS) has completed the registration of its Bishkek institution in the Kyrgyz Republic. ACLAS Bishkek is registered with the Ministry of Justice of the Kyrgyz Republic (registration No. 319951-3301-OOO; taxpayer ID 00909202510131) and is based at 33a S. Ibraimova St, Bishkek.
ACLAS is an online-first college: its programmes are delivered through the ACLAS online learning platform to students worldwide, without geographic barriers. Alongside that global online delivery, the institution is building a long-term academic presence in Bishkek, Central Asia — step by step, and in the open. Registration is the first confirmed milestone. What follows is already defined: finalised programmes, faculty recruitment, and the education licence from the Ministry of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic. Each milestone will be published here as it is confirmed — not before.
ACLAS Bishkek is organised around three flagship schools. The School of Advanced Computing and AI offers computing and AI education for the new economy, from LLM architectures to decentralized systems. The School of Global Business focuses on FinTech, digital marketing, and AI-driven management for the modern CEO. The School of Psychology and Human Development blends AI with data analytics for clinical psychology and behavioural research. Full programme details are published on this site.
ACLAS operates two institutions, and they are deliberately different. The online college at aclas.college is an online institution — its U.S. administrative correspondence address is in Wilmington, Delaware — and it delivers programmes 100% online and self-paced to working professionals worldwide, who can start in any month. Its graduates receive ACLAS online degrees and certificates, which can be checked through multiple published verification routes.
ACLAS Bishkek at aclas.edu.kg is a registered legal entity in the Kyrgyz Republic. It is being built as a campus-based institution in Bishkek with online components and a cohort-based academic calendar, serving students in Kyrgyzstan and Central Asia and international students who want a campus degree. Once the education licence is issued, its graduates will receive Kyrgyz state-recognised degrees. Its current status is registered, with the first intake planned after the licence, in September 2028.
Same family, same academic standards — different legal status, different delivery, different credentials. If you want a flexible online programme today, that is aclas.college. If you want a campus degree in Central Asia, that is what Bishkek is being built for.
The online college credentials can be verified through five published routes. Qualification Check provides independent primary-source verification, and a step-by-step guide is published on aclas.college. The official certificate-verification portal checks a certificate directly against ACLAS records. VIQES, an independent professional institute, issues its own evaluation or verification report, typically in under four working days. An IECC Education Verification Report carries a unique Document ID with a secure PDF and online validation, including EQF and ISCED level alignment, at a partner price of USD 35. And where a document requires legal recognition abroad, ACLAS documents can be authenticated with a Hague Apostille through the apostille certification service on aclas.college.
Bishkek sits at the crossroads of Central Asia, with direct connections across the region and a growing tech scene. Kyrgyz and Russian are heard daily alongside growing English — and ACLAS programmes are taught entirely in English. Student living costs are a fraction of most regional capitals: students typically budget an estimated USD 300–500 per month, excluding tuition.
Registration with the Ministry of Justice establishes the institution as a legal entity — it does not by itself authorise teaching. The education licence from the Ministry of Education is the step that changes what ACLAS Bishkek can do: enrol and teach degree students in Kyrgyzstan on a published academic calendar, with admissions, semesters and examinations; issue state-recognised Kyrgyz diplomas, the credential that employers and public bodies in Kyrgyzstan require and the basis for graduates to continue to master and doctoral study at other recognised universities; admit international students to study in Bishkek on student visas; and employ faculty and operate the campus as a recognised higher-education institution, entering academic partnerships as one.
Until the licence is issued, ACLAS Bishkek does not enrol or teach students. That is precisely why the first intake waits for it — and why ACLAS reports the licence as a milestone to be confirmed, not assumed.
A state diploma is also the portable kind. Under the Central Asian mutual-recognition agreement between Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, legally issued state diplomas are recognised across the region for employment, internships, and further study — each country applies its own rules. Kyrgyzstan is a member of the Hague Apostille Convention, so the diploma can be apostilled for use in other member countries. Graduates can also submit the diploma and transcript to international credential evaluators — such as WES or ECE — for a US or Canadian equivalency assessment, like graduates of any licensed Kyrgyz university. The assessment outcome is the decision of the evaluator; what the licence guarantees is that the credential being assessed is a state-recognised one.
Tuition for the founding cohort is published and fixed: USD 2,800 per year for international students and USD 1,800 per year for students from Kyrgyzstan and Central Asia, with a founding-cohort scholarship of 25% for all founding-cohort students (net USD 2,100 or USD 1,350) and a small number of 50% merit scholarships. The first intake is planned for September 2028, subject to the Ministry of Education licence. The application calendar will be published once the licence is in place.
Admissions enquiries are welcome at [email protected] — in English, Chinese, Russian, or Kyrgyz. Programme and tuition details are published on this site, and information about ACLAS and its official addresses is published on aclas.college.
