ACLAS Presents a Concept for Sustainable Campus Development in Bishkek

The concept prioritizes collaborative learning spaces and sustainable infrastructure. Planning work continues with external technical consultation.
ACLAS has presented a concept for sustainable campus development in Bishkek, setting out how its physical home at 33a S. Ibraimova Street should grow alongside its digital-first academic model. The concept prioritizes collaborative learning spaces — seminar rooms, project studios and shared work areas — over traditional lecture halls, reflecting how ACLAS programs are taught.
Sustainability runs through the plan: energy-efficient building systems, responsible water and waste practices, and green outdoor spaces suited to Bishkek's continental climate. The concept treats the campus itself as a teaching tool, with visible systems that students in data science and sustainable urbanism can study and measure.
Planning work continues with external technical consultation, and campus development proceeds in step with the college's regulatory milestones, including health, fire-safety and Ministry of Education licensure processes. Further updates will be published as designs are finalized and approvals are confirmed.
